Kaila O’Connor won the 100, 200 and 300 hurdles in the girls meet. Zeeshawn Issifu (100, 200), Ridge Snyder (400, 800), Kolby Cavanaugh (300H, triple jump), Bryson Heydt (shot put, discus) and Andrew Warner (long jump, high jump) all had a pair of wins in the boys meet. Jim Thorpe’s girls moved to 4-0-1 with a 97-52 win in the girls’ meet.
The Olympians remained the only unbeaten team in Division 1 with a 118-30 win in the boys meet, and are now 5-0 with one week left in the season. Jim Thorpe’s stellar season continued with a sweep of Pottsville in Schuylkill League action.
